This listing is for one Miniature Raku Ceramic Igloo. As a Canadian I have always been fascinated by Inuit art. I also love traditional housing, and well, all things Indigenous. I feel there was such wisdom there, and if we had or could continue in their vision, the world would not be self-destroying itself... Anyhow...enough of the gloom. I have made a small series of miniature igloos, teepees and yurts because I love them. In my dream life I live here.
Making small work in Raku is challenging. Items are placed on a small plate during the firing process. they are removed carefully, yet often stick together in the Reduction chamber. A lot of care must be taken. I am fine tuning this process of working with Raku miniatures!
Height: 3cm Width: 5cm Depth: 5cm
READY TO SHIP I packaged all of my ceramics very carefully with lots of bubble wrap, and try to use mostly recycled packing materials. If you prefer new materials only please send me a convo or message.
